About The JOb
The Operations/Productions Manager for an Event Company is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the event company. This includes managing production schedules, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, managing logistics, and ensuring that all events are executed seamlessly. The Operations/Productions Manager must also have a strong understanding of budgeting and financial management to ensure that events are profitable.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event management, operations, or productions
- Knowledge on Production and Element Sheet.
- Excellent MS Office knowledge (especially ppt & excel)
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with office equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive enough to solve problems and make strong decisions.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
Job Requirements
- Work with clients to ensure that their needs and expectations are met
- Develop final event logistics plans to support project plans.
- Ensure events follow local security, Workplace Safety and Health regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure that all necessary materials and services are secured on time and within budget
- Manage adjustments to event programmes to counter environmental issues and threats.
- Manage escalated on-site issues.
- Manage execution of event logistics plans to support project plans.
- Manage security threats during events.
- Manage takeover and handover of venues.
- Resolve escalated participants’ enquiries regarding the events.
- Review incident summary reports to determine areas of improvement for event safety and security.
- Review client project deliverables to ensure quality standards.
- Supervise volunteers deployment at the events.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop event strategies.
